Fellow Kenyans,
Today, we mark 60 years since we proclaimed ourselves an independent republic, free from the chains of British colonialism. Yet, the truth remains stark: our struggle for independence is not yet complete.
The promise of Jamhuri has been betrayed by successive regimes, led today by William Ruto and his cabal of imperialist collaborators. These are enemies of progress who exploit the Kenyan people for their selfish interests while running the national project on behalf of foreign powers.
But we, the Kenyan people, declare loudly and boldly: TUNAKATAA!
United as the great sons and daughters of Kenya, we say TUNAKATAA! Kenyans will never ever be humiliated again by foreign imperialist powers and their rented agents locally. To reclaim our dignity, we must defeat the enemies of progress—the dogs of imperialism pretending to be our leaders while stealing everything from us.
Dear Kenyans, we must now fight tooth and nail for the restoration of our homeland to complete our independence. Economic independence is the foundation of true sovereignty, and only when we achieve this can we declare Kenya a truly free republic. Until then, we remain enslaved. These are the immortal words of Amilcar Cabral, who reminded us that the fight for national liberation begins with the fight for economic liberation.
The Tunakataa Charter: Our Blueprint for Liberation
The Tunakataa Charter represents the unity of the working people of Kenya. It is the vision of a people determined to reclaim their stolen land, dignity, and sovereignty. Approved by the Second National Congress of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK) and adopted by the National Coordination Committee Party Assembly (NCCPA), the Charter is our weapon to defeat neo-colonialism and the imperialist forces suffocating our nation.
It is a project of national redemption handed down to us by our heroes, represented by the immortal Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi, who fought for our freedom with unmatched courage. To paraphrase his words, “It is better to die fighting than to die on our knees.”
A Call to Action
Comrades, we stand at a crossroads. We must choose between submission to imperialism or the fight for liberation. On this Jamhuri Day, we choose to fight!
We call on all Kenyans to unite against the corrupt elite and their foreign masters. Let us join hands to build a sovereign Kenya where power and wealth belong to the Kenyan people. Let us restore our dignity and ensure that every Kenyan enjoys freedom, justice, and equality.
Long live the National Democratic Revolution!
Long live Dedan Kimathi!
Long live the Communist Party Marxist Kenya!
Death to imperialism and their local running dogs!
TUNAKATAA!
Signed,
Booker Omole
