The Communist Party of Kenya (CPK) condemns in the strongest terms the recent escalation of sanctions by the United States of America on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The latest round of sanctions seek to freeze all the property and assets of the Venezuelan Government in the United States, and also to criminalise transactions with Venezuelan entities. This in other words means that the United States has decided to steal/rob the property and assets of the people of Venezuela for the period of these sanctions, and also to impose an economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Republic and People of Venezuela.

The CPK is confident that the same way that the previous sanctions failed in their intention, that is, to force the elected Government of President Nicholas Maduro into surrender, is the same way that these latest sanctions will end up, in utter failure.

The sanctions are proof of the superiority of the socialist system over capitalism. This is the true reason why the United States of America has always resisted any attempts by the people of Latin America, Africa and elsewhere in building socialism in their societies. Indeed, if socialism was inferior, the United States would not concentrate all its efforts on imposing sanctions, destabilising governments and declaring/pursuing wars on countries that chose/choose the socialist path.

The imposition of these sanctions on Venezuela is against international law, and the sanctions are meant to worsen the economic situation in Venezuela, a situation that was created by the United States in the first place.

This is why the CPK is calling on all organisations and governments that believe in international rule of law and international peace to strongly condemn these unilateral acts by President Donald Trump and his regime, and to express open solidarity with the people and the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Long Live the Building of Socialism in Venezuela!

Down with Imperialism and Imperialist Sanctions!

Forward to the Triumph of the Revolutionary People of Venezuela!

Full Solidarity with His Excellency President Nicholas Maduro!

Expose and Defeat US Imperialism, the Primary Aggressor Against Humanity May 26th, 2026   Nepal is a land of immense revolutionary history and immense contradiction. The mountains of Nepal carry the memory of armed struggle, sacrifice, and the blood of workers and peasants who rose against feudal monarchy and imperialist domination. Through the communist led anti monarchy insurgency, the old order was shaken violently. The 2001 royal massacre accelerated the collapse of feudal authority and opened the road toward the struggle for national democracy. During the ten years of People’s War,  [ ... ]
