Statement by the Communist Party of Kenya (C.P.K) – 24 January 2019

The Communist Party of Kenya (CPK) condemns in the strongest terms the recent attempts by the diabolic United States of America (USA) Government led by Donald Trump to ‘appoint’ a president for Venezuela. These recent moves by the USA not only amount to illegal interference that is contrary to international law and practice, but is also a declaration of war by the USA upon the sovereign Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

What we are witnessing is an attempt by the Imperialist USA to re-create what it used to do in Latin America in the last century, that is, to invade the countries and overthrow democratically elected Governments and replace them with puppet dictators appointed from Washington.

When we see the USA Government threatening to resist the expulsion of their diplomats by a sovereign Country, then the whole world, not just the progressive citizens of the world, must stand up against such violation of international law. The World cannot sit and remain silent and watch while the Hitler of the 21st Century is being born to plunge humanity into a Third World War that may destroy our planet!

The CPK firmly supports the revolutionary masses of Venezuela, and the Venezuelan Government under the leadership of President Nicholas Maduro. The CPK condemns the attempts by the USA, through their puppet Juan Guaido to subvert the popular will of the Venezuelan people and to take Venezuela back to US domination and bondage.

The CPK calls on the Kenyan Government under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta to come out and condemn the criminal acts by the regime of Donald Trump, and to express support to the People, Government and President of Venezuela. The CPK further calls upon the African Union, to strongly condemn this violation of international law by the USA. We cannot forget that some of Africa’s best political leaders, including Kwame Nkurmah, Patrice Lumumba, Modibo Keita, Samora Machel, Thomas Sankara, Felix Moumie, Muamar Gaddafi and others were overthrown/assassinated directly or at the behest of the Colonialist/Imperialist countries. Indeed, the actions of the USA in Venezuela are a direct threat to peace and democracy in Africa and the World in general.

The World must act to support the right of the people of Venezuela to national sovereignty and self – determination.

The Government of Venezuela must act firmly and with speed against the traitors of Venezuela who are puppets of the USA, and make them answerable to their heinous and treasonable behaviour.

Long Live the Sovereignty of Venezuela!

Long Live the Spirit of Hugo Chavez!

Away with the Traitors of Venezuela!

Down with USA Imperialism Down!

The Anti Imperialist Struggle in West Asia and the World

Intervention by Booker Omole Sovintern English Language Forum, Moscow, April 2026   Comrades,   The question before us is not whether a wider war will emerge in what is referred to as the Middle East, a term of colonial origin which obscures the real geography of struggle.   The reality is that war is already unfolding in West Asia.   What we are witnessing is not a series of isolated conflicts, but the development of a unified and expanding system of imperialist war.   This system reflects the deepening crisis of imperialism as a global formation.   West Asia has become [ ... ]

Address by Booker Omole, the General Secretary of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya to the Sovintern Conference, Moscow, April 2026 Opening and Concrete Characterisation of the Present Conjuncture    Comrades,   We are not confronted with an abstract question of whether a new world war will emerge. We are confronted with the necessity of recognising the concrete form in which global war is already developing. The present international situation is defined by the transition from fragmented regional conflicts into an increasingly interconnected system of wars, driven by the structur [ ... ]
