The Social Democratic Party of Kenya (SDP) is alarmed by the ongoing Political Suppression that has been, and is being perpetuated by the Government of Sudan.

We remind the Government of President Omar El Bashir that the era of dictatorship and political repression by the State is long gone, and is not acceptable on the African continent, and in the world at large.

We hereby demand that the all the Political detainees, including the ones listed below, be released immediately, and we also demand that the Government of Sudan be accountable to the Human Rights, and Political Rights of the people of Sudan.

The people of Sudan have a right to join, support, demonstrate, participate and vote for Political Parties of their choice.

We call upon the progressive and revolutionary Political Parties and organisations in Kenya and throughout the world to condemn the despotism being practised in Sudan, and to pile pressure on the Government of Sudan to open up the democratic space in that country.

Benedict Wachira

Secretary General

Social Democratic Party of Kenya

Expose and Defeat US Imperialism, the Primary Aggressor Against Humanity May 26th, 2026   Nepal is a land of immense revolutionary history and immense contradiction. The mountains of Nepal carry the memory of armed struggle, sacrifice, and the blood of workers and peasants who rose against feudal monarchy and imperialist domination. Through the communist led anti monarchy insurgency, the old order was shaken violently. The 2001 royal massacre accelerated the collapse of feudal authority and opened the road toward the struggle for national democracy. During the ten years of People’s War,  [ ... ]
