STATEMENT OF THE CENTRAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY MARXIST KENYA (CPMK)
ON THE GERMAN EMBASSY’S DENIAL OF A VISA TO GENERAL SECRETARY BOOKER OMOLE: WE CONDEMN THE IMPERIALIST BLOCKADE OF WORKING CLASS INTERNATIONALISM
The Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya (CPMK) vehemently condemns the decision by the Federal Republic of Germany, through its embassy in Nairobi, to deny an entry visa to our General Secretary, Comrade Booker Omole.
Invited by the German Communist Party (DKP) to participate in the Unsere Zeit Peace Days in Berlin from August 28 to 30, 2026, Comrade Omole has been arbitrarily barred from travelling to Germany.
We state unequivocally: The German ruling class operates as nothing more than a subservient subcontractor of US imperialism.
By denying Comrade Omole entry, Berlin acts on directives that align strictly with Washington’s geopolitical dictates. The German state, which hypocritically lectures the Global South on “democracy” while ruthlessly suppressing anti imperialist voices at home and abroad, serves as an enforcement arm of the American empire.
Just as Washington uses sanctions and military occupation to crush sovereignty, its European subordinates use bureaucratic violence, visa blockades and border regimes to suppress proletarian internationalism and insulate their populations from hearing the unvarnished realities of imperialist exploitation in Africa.
The claim that this visa denial is a neutral administrative decision is a transparent lie.
The German embassy cleared Comrade Omole on all standard verification checks. It then deliberately constructed an 18th ground, taking the political persecution and bogus legal charges he faces at home in Kenya and weaponising them to brand him a “flight risk”.
This political sabotage was coupled with bureaucratic harassment, including the payment of over KES 84,000, approximately €563, through private broker intermediaries, and the retention of his passport for a full month, thereby deliberately disrupting his scheduled participation in international engagements in Tehran.
During questioning, embassy officials dropped all pretences of neutral procedure, cross examining Comrade Omole on his political and anti imperialist stance, including his solidarity with national liberation movements.
THIS DECISION IS OVERTLY POLITICALLY MOTIVATED AND FUNDAMENTALLY COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.
It seeks to sabotage anti imperialist solidarity.
The imperialist core dreads direct and unmediated alignment between the working class of Europe and the oppressed masses of the peripheral nations. Berlin fears the truth: that the principal aggressor on the global stage is US led imperialism.
It exposes the hypocrisy of European political posture.
While the German state signs labour agreements with the Kenyan regime to recruit selected, cheap African labour to serve its capitalist economy, it bars African anti imperialist political leaders from entering its borders to speak.
It relies on rigged institutional barriers.
Expecting an African communist to navigate absurd legal loops, such as travelling to Berlin without a visa in order to appeal or hiring exorbitantly expensive German legal representation, is a calculated tactic designed to deny legal recourse through financial and geographical exclusion.
The CPMK refuses to be silenced by the administrative repression of US imperialism’s European vassals.
Imperialist borders cannot stop the unifying march of the international working class.
The ruling classes may control borders. They may control embassies. They may control visa regimes. They may attempt to control who enters their territory and who is permitted to speak.
But they cannot imprison an idea whose time has come.
They cannot blockade solidarity.
They cannot issue a visa against internationalism.
They cannot build a border high enough to separate the workers of Africa from the workers of Europe.
We therefore demand an immediate end to the political persecution of revolutionary leaders and call upon all anti imperialist, communist and progressive forces in Germany and throughout the world to expose the political character of this decision.
We call upon the working class and progressive forces of Germany to reject the repression of international communist solidarity and to defend the right of revolutionaries to organise, speak and build solidarity across borders.
The CPMK will not retreat.
The CPMK will not be intimidated.
The CPMK will not be silenced.
The struggle for proletarian internationalism continues.
Down with US Imperialism and its European Subcontractors!
Long Live Proletarian Internationalism!
Long Live International Working Class Solidarity!
